Brian at Acura of Brookfield entirely changed this perception for me - he was incredibly honest, walked me through some of my concerns about the vehicles and made me feel really comfortable with my first car purchase. Be ready to read! My Fiancé and I went to look for SUVs (for her vehicle) and we were approached by Brian Hoppe. My thoughts on dealerships are exactly what you're thinking...great...here we go, non-direct to consumer, annoying sales people. WRONG.

Brian approached us like a normal person, didn't pressure us once, assessed our needs and was professional the whole time. He didn't even ask me to buy, use sale lingo, or try to sneak one over on me. Dealers are a business and there to make money, which I objectively get but, I have no complaints at all.

It went so smooth, I actually test drove a car and ended up buying a car for myself rather than the SUV we initially went there for! I've been given some hope back for dealerships and we are considering strongly to buy an SUV just from Brian because of how simple it was. He is definitely there to help make sure you get what you want.

We had a fantastic experience buying a used Acura from Brian Hoppe at Acura of Brookfield. It happened to be my wife's birthday, and Brian gave her flowers and a card. I am not sure if the flowers were perhaps going to be given to us anyway, but Brian pivoting and making my wife feel special was meaningful and very much appreciated, and he already had the sale, so it was just nice. Above that, we were given a gift package containing two very nice Acura key rings and two spare fob batteries. That sort of thing is normally reserved for new car buyers. We were also given a carfax, and a line by line item of all maintenance and repair done at the dealer since the car was originally sold there.

Brian also has already checked in after 4 days to see how the car is doing and if I am happy with it (which I am). Acura of Brookfield is a Zimbrick dealership, and this is now my 7th car bought from Zimbrick in 17 years (we live in Madison). However, I have not had that level of service from ANY salesperson, EVER, not even fancy Acura dealers in the northern suburbs of Chicago.

Also, I noted that the suspension of the car may need work and they negotiated the price down. Overall I am very happy and recommend that you give Acura of Brookfield your business - ask for Brian Hoppe.

Visited twice when we knew business would be closed to avoid the fair or unfair tag of “salesman hustle”. However, when we visited knowing we wanted to test drive vehicle, it might as well been closed. Brian approached us in non-aggressive way. Extremely friendly. Extremely professional, yet very personable. Just an honest guy. Answered all of our questions, made a copy of my license, handed over the keys and off we went (without him). Returned, chatted some more about our trade-in, and the next day we bought the vehicle. Although we appreciated the lack of pressure to buy, Brian was excellent in all areas of our experience- initial contact, keeping in touch, discussing pricing of similar vehicles, etc. Will without a doubt contact him when we look to purchase another vehicle.
